Scientific reviews may have a word count of between 3000-7000 words. It is also suggested that opinion essays, expository essays, analytical essays and perspectives have between 2000-4000 words. A tentative list of domains of interest is highlighted in the journal home page. Authors may please note that they can discuss any topic relating to potential submissions or if they need guidance on the suitability of subject matter meant for the journal. For such discussions they are requested to contact the primary editor by email.
We hope to promote scholarly work as well as generate original thought and discussion on the subject of contemplative practice. All those who feel that they can contribute to the growth of the body of knowledge of contemplative practice, especially in the context of recovery from serious illness are welcome to submit their work for inclusion in the journal.

Procedure for Submission of Manuscripts
Authors are requested to send an email to the address above with the manuscript attached as a Micrososft Word document file. Authors should make every attempt to adhere to the guidelines as indicated in the submission guide page. Following editorial review, an email will be sent by the primary editor with appraisal, comment and suggestion notes and all authors will be asked to give consent to publish/print the articles in any format and to allow its permanent inclusion in an electronic archive.
All articles that are accepted for publication will be indexed in Zenodo, an open access repository of academic work hosted by CERN, and will receive a unique DOI number. In addition articles will be included in the Contemplative Practice community within Zenodo, curated by the center for contemplative practice.
